A series of Beijing events was organized to celebrate National Science Popularization Day 2022 at China Science and Technology museum and China Science Center. The main events at China Science and Technology Museum include four sections featuring major breakthroughs in Science to welcome 20th CPC National Congress, a decade of efforts, modern practice and future development of science popularization in China.

At China Science and Technology Museum, Sinopec showcased geothermal application achievements represented by Xiongxian Model, the application scenarios and main technologies of geothermal energy, attracting large coverage from news media and welcomed by enthusiastic audiences. The main elements of “Embracing Dual Carbon Targets for a Win-win Future” Geothermal Education Public Welfare Exhibition was displayed a long with other major achievements in the past decade, further upgrading the brand “Sinopec Star Geothermal Energy”.

The National Science Popularization Day this year mainly focuses on inspiring enthusiasm for innovation, serving high-quality development, advocating new trends of the times and empowering grassroots social governance. A series of activities including Beijing events, ministerial events, co-sponsored events, online-events and other special activities were organized and will be continued until 21 September.
