On June 24, 2022, the 6th Technical Committee Meeting was held online. TC members had in-depth discussions on issues including abstract review summary, paper review process and track management. Marit Brommer, TC Chair of WGC2023, presided over the meeting.

As of June 23, abstracts review has been basically completed, the conference comes to paper submission and review stage. The deadline for the paper submission is the end of September 2022. At present, abstracts were divided into 15 tracks, such as Geoscience, Field and Production Technology, Geothermal Systems, Drilling and Completion, Sustainability, etc. The Technical Committee will build reviewer teams of each track and conduct paper review from July to December 2022.
